Find your Zen
If you’re into yoga, there’s nothing like a serene, peaceful spot like Brownes Beach. It’s really big and nice and flat so you can always find a beautiful spot to lay down a mat. It’s on the west side of the island, so you’re facing the sunset. You can’t ask for a more picturesque setting.

The Real Meal
Fancy food is fine, but comfort food is even better. Whenever you can, head to Chefette BBQ Barn. There are two on the island—one by Accra Beach in Christ Church and the other in St. Michael. Go for the fried chicken with mac and cheese—or take your pick of buffalo wings and platters of chicken, fish, pork, burgers or juicy steaks with superb sides and garnishes.

Journey down below
You have to check out one of Barbados’ greatest visual wonders—Harrison’s Cave. It’s an easy walk into a big limestone cave filled with incredible flowing streams, deep pools and towering columns. Stalactites, stalagmites, speleothems are all surrounded by white flow stones. It’s an amazing experience and a great way to cool off on a hot day.
